Quadri Aruna Secures Historic Win In World Table Tennis
Today, we’re shining a spotlight on Quadri Akinade Aruna, the skilled Nigerian table tennis player born on August 9, 1988, in Oyo, Nigeria. Aruna’s impressive career includes participation in the 2012, 2016, and 2020 Summer Olympics, with a notable quarter-finals achievement in 2016, making him the first African player to break into the top 10 global rankings.
In the World Cup 2014, Aruna showcased his prowess by reaching the quarter-finals in the Men’s Singles competition.
